Charming 18 carat gold snake pendant circa 1870
 
The pendant has a domed turquoise enamel front, set a the centre with a pearl in a gold recessed diamond shape. A snake coils around the perimeter and peeps over the top. 
The back has a glass locket back with hair that can be removed.
