I am always happy to answer any questions you might have. .
Please study the photographs as these form part of the items description and condition report. Many of my pieces are over 200 years old and may be worn in areas. The photographs will be used as evidence for condition.
If you are disappointed or unhappy with your item, please inform me within 3 days of receiving the item.
Should you decide to return the item, it must be posted within 7 days, in bought condition, with any packaging/box etc.
Please be sure to liaise with me about the return so that I can explain how to post it back without incurring Duty on a Return because if customs do add duty to the return I will have to deduct the duty from the refund.
I will refund you via your original payment method.
Postage cost of returning items and any duty to be paid returning goods to the UK are the buyers responsibility.
If you wish to reserve an item and we arrange for you to leave a deposit to secure the item please note that this deposit is non refundable.
For any Layaway agreements that need to be cancelled a credit note for my shop will be issued which must be used within 6 months but I cannot offer refunds. The credit note may also be used in my sister shop Maison Dog Antiques.
Layaways are agreed between the seller and the buyer but are to be paid bi monthly, or monthly. Items on Layaway cannot be swapped out at any time for other pieces of jewelry. If the layaway is cancelled, the first payment is forfeited, and the remainder is given as a credit note.
There are no returns on Layaways or on pieces of jewelry that have been resized or customised. There are no returns or exchanges on sale or reduced price items
Every piece is guaranteed genuine and as described.
I strive to list each piece as accurately as possible, and provide a description of the condition along with a set of high resolution images.
Included with every order is an appraisal certificate for insurance purposes.
SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT TERMS- I reserve the right to make special arrangement terms with certain customers. These will be discussed and agreed beforehand and may include longer layaway terms, no refund policies, etc.
These agreements are legally binding. They may or may not involve a signed letter as proof of agreement.
Your purchase will be carefully wrapped and packaged.
I usually send items by UK Royal Mail recorded delivery, fully insured.
Please also note, that for security, I must post to the address on the invoice. This protects you, and me, from theft of your identity, and insures we are covered by insurance. My insurance company will not cover any postage to a PO Box address so please use a home or office address when you reach checkout.
Royal mail's international delivery aim is 5-7 days, however Customs and Duties Services can create delays, please be patient.
Please note that any customs duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
In the rare event of any loss or damage during transit, please note I am fully insured and will reimburse you but I do have to go through the Royal Mail procedure which is - filing a claim after 28 days, waiting for them to investigate and either find the item or notify me of it's loss at which point I will be reimbursed for £250 from Royal Mail and the rest will come from my private insurers. For my insurers to reimburse me we have to have proof from Royal Mail that the parcel cannot be found by them.
