Very unusual Victorian bracelet modelled in 18 carat yellow gold depicting a snake and an eagle holding onto one another with open mouths/beaks. The heads are beautifully modelled with fine engraved detailing of the feathers and scales. Both wear a turquoise collar (made from tiny cabochon stones) and have ruby eyes. The snake has a pear shaped opal cabochon set into her head. The bracelet itself is hinged and sprung at the sides and expands by about half an inch and has a safety chain.
There are a few tiny dings to the gold bracelet but these are minor. There is also some wear to the engraving on the bracelet but again minor.
The bracelet fits up to a 6.5" wrist.
It weighs 19g
