Stunning rare and chunky Victorian sterling silver whistle finely modelled as the head of a fox, with bushy hair, slender snout and sardonic eyes.
There is a wooden pea inside. All whistles whistle, but those with peas produce a trill as air passes over the pea.
I think this is the largest one I have had that isn't a vesta/combination whistle.
He has a chunky silver jump ring and a silver split ring, ready to attach to any Albert chain.
