This is an amazing Victorian substantial bow topped heart locket, the front set with a diamond W.
The locket opens to reveal a glazed photo compartment (once hair now empty)
The guilloche enamel is a wonderful shade of red, symbolising love and passion.
The centre of the bow also sports a small old cut diamond.
 
Hallmarked for 18 carat on the bale and inside the locket
circa 1880
measures - 48mm x 28mm 
weight - 19.9g
condition - teeny enamel loss to left ribbon end, otherwise very good
