Charming Victorian masquerade locket circa 1870.
The front of the oval locket enamelled with a stylised portrait of a lady wearing a black mask and a violet gown or bodice.
Her eyes are set with two paste stones.
The locket opens to reveal a glass compartment to store a photograph and a locket of hair, or other such souvenir.
The locket is made from a gold metal.
