Wow!
It's years since I have seen one of these - a wonderful late 19th century triple snake ring of fine quality.
 
Modelled in 18 carat rosey gold, each snake finely scaled and engraved, one with a ruby, one an old cut diamond, and one a sapphire to the crown of the head.
 
How patriotic!
 
The stones are approx 2mm across, and all original
 
The ring is a size 4.5 but can be sized
 
The back of the shank is 6mm wide
