Charming Victorian garnet pendant with fly circa 1870
The two cabochon garnets are set in 18 carat gold and decorated with a border of rope twist gold with three tassels dangling at the bottom.
 
The fly is made from silver and gold, with pave diamond wings, gold legs and garnet bug eyes
 
This was likely once one of a pair of earrings, now with diamond bale added.
