Outstanding Antique Victorian ring designed as a coiled snake, modelled in 18 carat gold and decorated with black enamel so that her body appears to be decorated with tiny gold stars!
Her head is crowned with a large rose cut diamond set in a silver pinched collet surround. Her eyes are gold balls with a flash of gold liner. She has a wide, gold smiling mouth.
Her body wraps around the finger four times and is stabilised on the underside of the finger with two rows of gold, and on the top a gold ball near the tail.
Best worn so that the head goes up onto the hand.
