Antique Diamond Snake Ring Circa 1860
Lovely Victorian 18 carat gold snake ring. His head is set with a gorgeous old cushion cut diamond that measures just under half a carat. The open back setting means that the diamond really sparkles, and also that this ring can be worn every day as you don't have to worry about getting it wet.
He has a sweet smiling mouth and tiny ruby set eyes.
His head rests on his body so that the ring forms a symmetrical V, with his tail end twisting around in a neat little flick.
Snakes symbolise eternal love and this one would be especially great as an engagement ring.
