Stunning Victorian 15 carat  cauldron shaped orb. 
Modelled in 15 carat gold and weighing a decent 15.18g 
This orb has a secret!
It opens at the side to reveal a locket compartment and a compass, and then if you undo one of the arms you can swivel it round to use the agate seal that is carved with the monogram  - WPB - I think!! 
(Never been great at working these out)
The orb has a design kitemark on one of the arms that I have deciphered as ‘12th March 1861’
