Unusual Georgian spinner fob, lozenge shaped with raised studded effect to the front and to the rear a bloodstone seal engraved C L. (Mother or father?) Best of all the locket is hinged and opens to reveal plaited brunette hair beneath a glass window with a pierced goldwork monogram AL (Ann Laurence) it has a black Enamel border with gold lettering which reads - ‘Ann Laurence ob 16 Oct 1815 AE 12 years’ The locket closes with a satisfying click.
