Gorgeous and rare high carat gold Georgian padlock circa 1820 - 30.
 
I really love the zig zag textured gold front, sey with six turquoise col glass and decorated with canetille gold work.
The back still has it's original hair locket, decorated with a canetille border.
 
Perfect for a georgian chain.
 
Padlock hinge is good and strong and the closure snaps shut with a nice little click.
