Victorian Rock Crystal Pools Of Light Locket
Beautiful "pools of light" rock crystal locket, made from two highly polished, domed rock crystal hemispheres that create a lens effect that appears to trap and magnify light inside. It typically has a small hollow space between the crystal orbs to hold a keepsake, like a photograph, lock of hair, or dried flower, which is also magnified by the crystal lenses.
 
The gold frame that holds the crystals is scalloped, with a hinge at the bottom, and a screw closure with watch style bail at the top.
