Adorable Ouroboros ring, snake eating his own tail, representing birth, death and renewal and eternal love.
He has the cute duck face of the earlier snakes, with engraved scales and facial markings, with cab garnet eyes, very similar infact to the matching earrings from the same period.
The inner ring bears the inscription - E v G ob 24th December 1836, and a later addition - ‘F 11.2.48’ presumably another family relative.
The ring is a size 9.5 and cannot be sized
