What a handsome snake!
Coiled around a very pretty and very large opal, and knotted at his neck, this snake is very finely modelled with very intricate scales and a detailed face with smiley mouth, dementoid garnet eyes, and tiny tongue peeping out.
The opal is held in a claw setting with an open back so that the light really enhances the beauty of the opal.
The gold is a rich 18 carat yellow
