Huge Augis Qu' Hier Que Demain Charm
This is the biggest one I have seen of these! It is spectacular
It is just under 33mm diameter and weighs 14.6g!
This stunning French 18ct Gold pendant bears the iconic “Plus qu’hier, moins que demain” rebus — meaning “More than yesterday, less than tomorrow.”
The phrase, taken from a poem written in 1889 by Rosemonde Gérard to her husband Edmond Rostand (author of Cyrano de Bergerac), has come to symbolise enduring and ever-growing love.
The word “plus” is represented by a diamond-set plus sign
and “moins” by a Ruby-set minus sign, a clever and romantic visual pun.
The charm is decorated with a raised border of baguette cut rubies and is hung from a matching bail also set with rubies.
