A particularly fine Georgian urn ring, the urn striped with black enamel on 18 carat gold, with a band of old cut diamonds. The superfine shoulders represent handles and are set with two more diamonds either side, and the base and the top of the urn are also set with a diamond.
 
The back of this ring does not have a locket compartment, it is just plain gold.
 
The black enamel band with curved ends reads ' AR  RADCLIFFE  ESQ  OB 25 OCT 1767  AE 72'
