Beautiful rare shell pendant with internal locket and vinaigrette circa 1810, modelled in two colour high carat gold and decorated with turquoise and seed pearls. The locket swivels open and inside there are two compartments; one a vinaigrette for a tiny scented cloth , and one a glass fronted locket for a lock of lovers hair. Measures 21mm x 23mm not including bale.
