Very rare and unusual mourning ring comprising faceted double faced rock crystal in a cut down style Georgian setting holding within it a plaited hair design so beautiful it looks almost mystical.

The enamel band reading 'John Cross OBT 12 Aug 1764 set 37'

DIMENSIONS: 11.3mm x 9.9mm (face) east west incl shoulder detail 16mm

WEIGHT: 3.5g

SIZE: 5 - cannot be resized apart from with sizing beads due to enamel

CONDITION: nearly perfect - a couple of small losses to the enamel that only really show under a loupe
