Beautiful English Riviere Collar circa 1780.
The collar comprises twenty three graduated pastes, all faceted and foiled in closed button backs with cut down collet settings.
The pastes are a lovely soft pink, foiled to resemble pink topazes.
The back is a gold filled metal, worn down in many places (it's over 250 years old!)
The largest central paste measures 16mm x 13mm
The wearable length is 15.5", closing with and engraved rectangular box clasp
