Stunning Georgian Mourning pendant circa 1780, the frame set with 39 old cut diamods, and the bale set all the way around with tiny diamonds.
The central scene is of a lady mourning under a weeping willow tree, beside a plinth topped with an urn, the urn and plinth made from three dimensional hair framed with high carat gold. The scene is covered by domed glass
The back is a plain sheet of 18 carat gold
