Really lovely Georgian Locket with very sparkly old cut diamonds, set in a graduated halo around a gently domed glass locket (now lined with purple silk)
The diamonds are those wonderful high topped old cuts, set in silver pinched collet settings, with a closed back.
The gold back is engraved with the monogram EP. The has been a brooch fitting removed.
 
The pendant measures 25mm in diameter, the inner locket 17mm
 
It weighs 6.1g
 
In excellent condition (apart from the scar from the brooch removal)
 
The diamond bale is a later addition.
