A rare 18th Century Staffordshire Masonic Pendant, enamel on copper, 1758.

 

The large oval painted in monochrome with all the masonic symbolism, edged with a gold metal frame

 

Inscription: Side one: "Sit lux et lux fuit" [Let there be Light and there was Light]; letter H on left side, letter S on right side; A?B monogram below
Side two: "Amor, Honor et Justicia" (on ribband embracing arms).

 

Measures - 65mm x 55mm

 

Condition - I need to get the bale repaired. Some hairlines and one tiny chip
