Look at this wonderful thing!! A coral hound, circa 1820, carved as a hound in coral. The back high carat gold chased with a floral pattern. Best of all it is hinged and opens to reveal a glass locket in which you could if you wanted, put a tiny dog photo or a lock of hair.
It measures 30mm x 20mm approx and
weighs 12.5g
