Charming sentimental georgian lace pin, modelled in pinchbck as a hand holding a spray of forget me nots.

The hand wears a turquoise glass stone, and the cuff of the hand is decorated with a further three stones.

The stems arch from the hand, modelled with finely detailed leaves and two flowers, the centres set with glass turquoises.

A tiny piece of history!

A lace pin is a small piece of antique jewelry, also known as a fichu pin, used to secure a triangular scarf (fichu) or lace collar to the neckline or shoulder area during the Georgian era. These pins typically feature a decorative centre with gemstones, hairwork, or other embellishments, and are characterized by their small size and use of a traditional "C" clasp and tapered pin for fastening.
