Early 19th century emerald and diamond anchor motif ring.
The ring with a central pear cut emerald flanked by two old cut diamonds within a diamond-set anchor motif - symbolising hope, " a sure and steadfast anchor for the soul". The ring having bifurcated stylised shoulders to a tapered shank.
