Lovely Georgian 5 stone half hoop diamond ring.
 
The diamonds are antique rose cuts, foiled and in silver pinched collet settings.
 
As this ring has a closed back it should not be worn 24/7 and should not be gotten wet, and when the water gets behind the diamonds it will eventually rust the foil. This is not the end of the world as you can get them refoiled but it is not ideal
 
The 18 carat gold shank has been reshanked as the original one had worn away.
