Very elegant canetille citrine earrings dating from around 1830
 
The citrines are in a closed, foiled setting, in a surround of canetille swirls.
 
The shepherds hooks are topped by a gold ball, modelled in 9 carat gold and are a later addition.
The backs of the citrines are set in silver gilt, the canetille is gold

measures 30mm drop from ball to end of earring.
