Really cool chunky rock crystal pendant decorated with an undulating serpent carved in high relief.
 
The snake has a matt effect finish and his facial details and scales are carved into the crystal, contrasting with the shiny, smooth background.
The crystal is finished with a fine 18 carat gold bezel border and capped with a gold top that is set with a cabochon emerald.
The gold jump ring is marked for 18 carat.
 
This piece looks great on a chunky chain, and indeed needs something strong to hold it because it is pretty substantial.
