Lovely 19th century high Carat gold double snake and citrine brooch The almost spectacles shaped brooch comprises two oval faceted citrines with coiled snakes around in a mirror image of one another, their tails intertwining elaborately at the centre.This brooch would look great pinned to to the neck of a shirt collar ( think bow tie) Measures 44mm x 17mm The citrines 13 x 10mm Weighs 6.9g Circa 1890 - probably European Condition- immaculate
