I was drawn to this Vinage 18 carat gold snake ring because it is so chunky and covered in diamonds!
Dating from around the 1940's  - 50's this snake is a real show stopper.
 
The star sapphire set in his head measures 8mm x 6mm
The rest of his head is set with a mixture of old cuts in open backed settings.
His eyes are small ruby chips
His shoulders are set with four brilliant cut diamonds that are .2 carats each
 
Size - 6 and can be sized (there is evidence of sizing already)
weight - a chonky 17g
Shank 10mm wide at back and about 15mm at the front
