Very unusual Locket ring.
 
The face of the ring made from gold is a long narrow oval, which sits quite high on the finger.
The top is set with raised gold gothic letters spelling 'CHARLES'
This top hinges open to reveal blonde plaited hair under glass.
The back of the ring is engraved '12th April 1813' 
The shank is fashioned as a twist of rope.
 
This is a great ring for stacking as it is so narrow and flat.
