Totally fantastic and romantic large Victorian Butterfly brooch.
 
How many hearts can you spot??
The top wings are decorated with five witches hearts on either side (you bewitch me)
then the gold wirework loopy canetille pattern is set with a further eight tiny hearts each side, and five more on her abdomen - that's 31 hearts!
The bottom wings are decorated with stars and leaves.
She has seven gold balls hanging from her wings, and swags of gold chains.
 
Hanging from her wings at the bottom is a gold bee - hitching a ride!
 
The butterflie's eyes are a pair of cabochon rubies, and there is a turquoise set onto the body and a further two turquoise stones set into a canetille flower on each of the wings.
