Really cool pair of banded agate drop earrings dating from around 1870.
The top oval banded agate cabochon is decorated with a silver six pointed star, set in the centre with a tiny rose cut diamond. 
The larger bottom cabochon is hinged to the top one by way of two gold rings.
It is adorned with a fly. His silver wings set with diamonds, his body with an emerald and his head with bulging garnets for eyes. 
Both his head and legs are gold.
The agates are set into gold and have gold shepherds hooks.
