Stunning Bague Au Firmamnt ring circa 1770.
 
This ring is a bargain! Due to the small diamonds the cost is much less but the look is as good as one with much bigger stones due to the lovely chunky pinched collet silver settings.
The 'stars' are set onto a long slim oval of blue glass, edged in gold, edged with a border of 20 diamonds. The split shoulder shank is decorated with a central diamond either side.
The shank and the back of the ring is high carat gold
