Lovely Late Georgian five stone aquamarine ring, the 15 carat gold shoulders and shank chased with foliate scrolls right the way round.
The five faceted aquamarines are held in claw settings and decorated with gold balls and loops typical of the period.
Above and below the joint of each aqua are pairs of tiny gemstones -
emerald
amethyst
garnet
sapphire. So pretty!
 
All in open backed settings so easier to wear
 
The ring is hallmarked for Birmingham, 15 ct, 1835.
