Gorgeous Swiss enamel quizzing glass.
Designed as two rings: 
The top ring set with a magnifying glass within an 18 carat gold frame, decorated with navy enamel, white flowers and gold leaves.
The glass can even be replaced as the frame has a screw fitting which can be used to release the glass.
The quizzer handle undulates down to the second smaller ring that is used as a finger ring whilst one is holding the glass up to read ones novel, or maybe even to assist with sewing.
Nowadays this would look amazing hanging from and antique gold chain, or even from one of the matching enamel chains I have in my store.
 
Presented in original fitted leather box with cream silk and velvet lining.
