Superb Antique Swedish 18 Carat Gold Snake Hinged Bangle.
Modelled as a snake holding the end of his tail in a little loop. His head set with a cabochon garnet, with two smaller garnets for eyes, his head and neck decorated with royal blue enamel work in a foliate pattern.
His open mouth reveals a set of tiny but sharp teeth and a forked tongue which sticks out of his mouth on the left hand side.
The bangle is hinged and opens and closes securely.
The inside is hallmarked with swedish marks including 18k and the 3 crowns.
