Sweet little Victorian whistle, finely modelled as a the head of an Italian Greyhound, or whippet.
Sighthound head whistles are much more unusual that the hound head variety.
This one is modelled in sterling silver.
 
The mouthpiece of this one is quite dented. We tried our best to straighten it out, and it does work, albeit not as tunefully as maybe it would have.
It is priced accordingly.
