Antique Victorian Silver Dog Whistle
 
A lovely whistle this, the head modelled as some kind of hound.
He wears a silver collar with buckle detail, and on the underside is the makers mark G.L. and hallmarks for Birmingham 1893
The stem of the whistle is engraved with a foliate pattern as is the underside of the mouthpiece. 
 
Makes a lovely high pitched sound.
