Antique shagreen casket with silver gargoyles and mermaids, fitted for ten rings in duck egg blue silk velvet, lifting out to reveal a space for some chains. The latch fitting is engraved ‘ Susse Freres’ . The hinges are modelled as angels, the back is a bit worn but in a charming way. Measures 21cm x 10cm approx.
