Highly sought after stylised ouroboros hoop earrings, made from high carat gold, the heads modelled in a fine openwork design, they almost look like cute little dragons!

The hoops go on to the ear from back to front. They hinge open from one side, and fasten on the other side, under the head.

There is a hallmark on both hoops, but I can't decipher it.

These are a great everyday pair of earrings, really cool but not too big or heavy, and not too fragile either.

The Ouroboros is an ancient circular symbol of a snake or dragon eating its own tail. Its name comes from Greek words meaning "tail-devourer". It mainly symbolises eternity, cyclical time, and the endless loop of life, death, and rebirth.
