Fabulous high carat gold ouroboros pendant, the border modelled as a chunky gold snake eating his tail, his eye set with a faceted ruby.
 
The centre is set with a vivid green oval of polished malachite.
 
The ouroboros is often interpreted as a symbol for eternal cyclic renewal or a cycle of life, death and rebirth; the snake's skin sloughing symbolises the transmigration of souls.
