Antique Large Sicilian Snake Hoop Earrings
Very wearable Large Sicilian ouroboros snake hoop earrings modelled in high carat gold dating from around 1820 -30. 
I bought three pairs of antique Sicilian earrings recently from a collector. (Other 2 pairs now sold)  
 
The faces are somewhat abstract.
These earrings are applied from the back to the front and the clip goes through his nose. 
The circle at the top stops the earring from dropping forward.
