Better pics with my new phone of this rare fob, modelled in high carat, three colour gold.
 
The doves kiss, one with yellow gold wings, the other rose gold. The bale coils into a loop made from contrasting gold foliage which melds into the birds’ bodies.
 
The top of the fob base, rather like a pomegranate, alternates between yellow and rose gold, and is chased with roses, the oval base set with a bloodstone and engraved with the word l’amitie (friendship - but in those days that meant a kind of romantic early love)
