Wonderful Georgian Pendant; the centre set with a hard stone cameo, carved as a lady in grecian attire playing the lyre with some kind of column.
The cameo is set in a frame of red guilloche enamel with gold milled edges, and a central row of old cut diamonds, the lovely high topped ones.
The back of the pendant has an oval hole, close to the size of the cameo, to let the light flood through the agate and illuminate the carving and the different qualities of the stone.
