Really charming Victorian Bug pendant.
The wings and abdomen modelled in silver backed with gold, and set with old cut diamonds in open backed settings. (the largest diamond being .15 carat)
The bug's ruby eyes are mounted in gold and his thorax is accented with a faceted sapphire also mounted in gold. (sapphire 0.3 carat)
 
His legs and antennae are high carat gold.
 
Lovely worn on a fine chain.
