Lovely, uber modern looking large scale Whitby Jet pendant, designed as a large domed oval faceted with a multitude of triangles. If you look carefully you will see the triangles are many different sizes and they are not even symmetrical!
 
The back is set with a silver framed locket back, which once would have had hair but now is lined with black silk.
 
The matching chunky bail is attached to an enamelled metal ring, typical of Whitby Jet pieces.
