Very charming 19th Century 14 Carat gold fob, modelled as two dolphins (front and back) their tails intertwining, their mouthes holding a ball. The two sides meet together at the top where there is a fancy engraved bail.

The top of the base (inbetween the dolphins) is not so easy to see but is carved with a floral motif.

The base of the fob is a plain polished gold oval.

The fob hangs from a large ring, one side chased with a foliate pattern in high relief.

Would look super hanging from an albert chain or albertina style necklace.
